I use photography and painting to explore the relationships between different kinds of spaces and places, for example what happens at the intersection between urban and rural, between inside and outside, or between inhabited and uninhabited. Recent photographic work involves pairing photographs, which have not been cropped or manipulated, and looking at the links between previously separate images and subjects. The latest paintings are concerned with buildings and landscapes that are both inhabited and empty, and draw on imagery that is everyday and often at the same time iconic.

I live and work in Oxford having studied Foundation Art and Design at Banbury and then Fine Art at Central St Martins College of Art and Design in London.
